CWL only had BY operating today, with their charters.

Also BRS dosen’t have much movement – the whole EZY fleet seem to be on stand and the only flights today were the charters and the EZY GVA flight

ABZ was open for the first time in many years on christmas day, Air France requested the airport to open so that they could operate one flight to Paris.

Yep a little thing called Christmas surprisingly..

Nothing like a bit of sarcasm eh Tom? 😀

I have to admit, I were wondering why there’s no traffic through an airport, the fact that it’s December the 25th would have given me a pretty good clue why!

London, England Bankair 996 09:13 PM Scheduled
Malaga, Spain Britannia Airways 266B 02:34 PM Landed
Lanzarote, Canary Islands Britannia Airways 367B 07:53 PM Planned
Newark, NJ Continental 16 07:49 AM Landed
Dubai Emirates 25 11:03 AM Landed
Malaga, Spain First Choice Airways 176D 02:10 PM Landed
Monastir First Choice Airways 379 11:13 PM Planned
Amsterdam Klm Royal Dutch Airlines 1481 08:17 PM Scheduled
Alicante, Spain MyTravel Airways 974 10:39 PM Landed
Malaga, Spain Thomas Cook Airlines (UK) Ltd 430L 04:35 PM In Flight
Thomas Cook Airlines (UK) Ltd 549L 10:30 PM Planned

Edited to show the days arrivals.

I put the live ATC on around 1330 and the EK was just taxiing for her take-off and the controller commented that it was the first aircraft he had seen all day due to the fog at the airport. I had clear skies and a white Xmas where I am, which is only 17 mins from GLA. So I don’t know how it was so foggy there.

Plenty of GSM,BA,BD,BE aircraft on the ground I suspect…

Anyway, hope you’ve all had a good Xmas,

Gaz

Airport closed for the day?

:EDIT: Seems there was only 1 departure, the BD flight to LHR @ 0645. Other airports are quiet, Jet2 not operating from MAN either, so no wonder LBA is quiet, as their main operator is having a day off 😀
