Whats Virgin like?

Hi All,
Well I have just booked up with Virgin Atlantic to fly to New York. Was just wondering if anyone has flown with them and what they are like.

Thanks for the replys guys. Its British Midland to Heathrow then Virgin to Newark. I was hopping for the A340 but hey the next best thing is the 744.

I have flown Virgin many times across the pond and it has always been excellent. Even on the old 747-200 things were good. Been to Barbados twice in the last 18 months and it was very good, much better than BA.

I don’t know about Virgin Atlantic but I flew Virgin from Heathrow to Hong Kong some time ago and I have to say it was a very pleasant flight with attentive crew. It was a 5 day trip booked with Virgin holidays which I felt was good value for money at 500 odd quid including the flight and a nice hotel.
Hope you have a good flight anyway.
