Delays at NCL today

Delays at NCL today were caused by a complete computer failure at about 330am this morning. It took until 730am for nearly everything to be restored: baggage belts, check-ins, flight info, everything. Some of the flight info screens are still off. This meant that most flights before 730 this morning were delayed in departing, which obviously created a knock-on effect for flights later in the day.

Just one of those things, nothing to do with weather or anything.

Charter flights have always suffered horrendous delays, its nothing new. Dan Air was one of the worst but their was a real holiday feel on board their aircraft and this went a long way to ease the frustration of weary passengers, and you got a voucher for a meal if over a few hours. Seen as many of the charters dont even feed you on-board, I can hardly see them giving you any food in the airport.

Shame on MYT for hanging up their phones, because of complaints from passengers!

Also the aircraft operating the Mahon flight may not be doing the Palma flight on Friday, we might get the other based aircraft.

oh, little chance of the delays today affecting you.

However… we are meant to be getting the remnants of that tropical storm and hurricane hitting us soon
