Whats your fav classic car?

My fav classic car would have to be the 1960’s Ford Mustang. Like the shape, the sound, the preformance and the look overall. 🙂

Arthur: On a personal note mate, may I ask why you are so negative
towards everyone? Though you do have some very good points
most of the time, you seem to down people quiet alot, is
there any rational reason behind it? Help me understand it
please.

Oh, there aren’t any evil intentions behind it if you’re afraid of that. Sometimes i just take pleasure in being blunt, but it’s nothing personal. Just think al lot of 😀 and 🙂 and 😉 and especially }> behind the stuff i type down here. It’s nothing serious: anyone is entitled to his or her own opinion just as i am, unfortunately the only opinion i can defend is my own 😀

RE: Whats your fav classic car?

Arthur: Under current terms here in Australia, a classic car is defined as a car more than 20 years old, and I understand that this puts the Toyota out but I had to include it anyway and the M-1 is nearly 30 years old so it deffinately does count.

On a personal note mate, may I ask why you are so negative towards everyone? Though you do have some very good points most of the time, you seem to down people quiet alot, is there any rational reason behind it? Help me understand it please.

RE: Whats your fav classic car?

I think mine have to be the Super 7 , any old bristol car ( I saw on a websearch that they are producing again and have a rather snazzy car called the Bristol Fighter and a Bristol Blenheim 3) and the Mercedes 300sl Gullwing.

RE: Whats your fav classic car?

i love the ford GT40, it can still hold its own with most moden sport’s cars and look’s way cooler. 😀

Or a bit more down to earth the MK II escort RS2000, why?……because i own one.

RE: Whats your fav classic car?

Arthur you are one sick puppy! 😀

As to favourites the AC Cobra would be on my list, but, having heard of its kill ratio of uninitiated drivers, I dont think I’d like to own one!. The Jaguar E-Type would be in the top three also BUT my absolute favourite has to be, for its balance of power and sheer elegant style, the Aston Martin DB5.

RE: Whats your fav classic car?

Ja,
This post relates to “what’s your fav classic car”. The last time I looked the Landcruiser was a SUV and definitely not a classic car. Neither is the BMW M-1.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-09-02 AT 06:25 PM (GMT)]You guys have no taste whatsoever… The GAZ M21 Wolga. Although i prefer the flat black KGB-variant over this (also very nice)

The East German Volkspolizei-one is an M24, will do as well }>

RE: Whats your fav classic car?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 20-09-02 AT 05:25 PM (GMT)]1. 67 GTI Clubman Sport Mini, same as what they used in the movie “The Italian Job”

2. BMW M-1, It looks like a mean car and in Black would look even meaner.

3. 91 NSW Police Model Toyota Land Cruiser, this was half the weigh of the normal land crusier with a twin turbo engine, just the thing for going out back (Pic not available, instead on similar shown).

Saab,
Could you post a photo of the 356 to show these neanderthals what a masterpiece looks like. }>

RE: Whats your fav classic car?

Gotta be the AC Cobra after a certain Mr Carroll Shelby got his hands on it and stuck a thundering great Ford 7 litre V8 under the bonnet, something some of you may not know, the Cobra is responsible for the 70mph speed limit in Britain after one was tested on the M1 in June 1964 at around 180mph, the politicians heard about it, suffered a sense of humour failure and now were stuck at 70mph.

Regards, Dazza.

MG TD (circa 1952) for the love of God, please put this car back into production! Theve put the morgan back into production, and MG is back in bussiness producing new cars. And if it is produced again, DONT try to modenize it.
