Because few parents teach the children manners at an age when they are likely to grow up thinking that’s the way to be.
How true…kids these days aren’t even disciplined at home or school anymore…they have no respect for teachers, Parents or the law…they don’t receive sex education or religious instruction at school…they’re not taught any manners or any of the social graces at home…they’re just left to find their own way in the world

You’re right – I help run a couple of kids’ clubs and the 5 – 9 year olds never said please or thank you.It took me a whole term’s constant repetition before the little b—–s would say them automatically.Guess Mum or Dad ( if he’s even around ) never used the words at home.

To get back to the point -it’s not only women today who are rude. Why have good manners become so unusual ?

Foreplay=are you awake???
And if that’s the normal state of affairs, this leads us neatly to the conclusion that THAT’S why Australian women are bad-tempered and ill-behaved.

….you’ve gone native Oz.

You miss the point. Foreplay is 24/7, by being a gent, nice etc. It doesn’t start when the action does.

This has not gone unremarked.
That ominous creaking sound could very well be thin ice starting to give way…..

Funny,it doesn’t mention anything like that in the little book Hubby thinks I don’t know about .
By: Barnowl - 24th April 2009 at 16:51
It DOESN’T?
I must go!
By: old shape - 24th April 2009 at 16:00
It’s Mrs. Shape I feel sorry for – if you two are carrying on foreplay 24/7 you must get some very funny looks in the supermarket .

I have a French boyfriend his manners are impeccable, to the point of being jaw dropping.:)
Nauseating more like if my experience of French manners is anything to go by

The one thing for me that shows a man is a gentleman is when he stands when you rise from the table after eating, or when he holds the door open for you when you leave the room.
In a lot of cases I supect the door is only held open so that the man can make sure the woman leaves the room so that he can have 5 minutes peace:D

I guess because respect is not instilled in peoples minds anymore.
