It just occurred to me the other day now that term is almost over that it’s been 16 years since the happy day I walked out of school for the last time with my four O Grades and a sarcastic expression to set me on my way in life.
Three months later I was at college doing media studies which led me to my job today, which I’ve been doing for ten years ! 😮
When did you leave school and what did you do next ? 😮

Left school in 86, faffed about gathering cash for a few years, joined the mob hoping to become a jet jockey in 91, lasted until 92, got binned, came out, been guilty of continuous faffing about between then and now. But hey, it pays the bills and might buy me a Chipmunk share, so who’s moaning? 😀

Graduated high school in 1985 and took a year of trade school in the auto mechanics field. Loved that line of work so much that I’ve been driving a truck and plowing snow for the last 16 years. 😀

Left school in 1977, worked as a driver’s mate, then joined AS*A, after a few years out of work, firstly as a picker in the warehouse, and latterly as a shelf-filler on the night-shift, found myself working under managers who were born after I left school, stayed for fifteen years, left this February to become a full-time carer to Mum.

finished School in 1999 with the IB, spent 9 months writing a basic HTML Intranet programme at Jet Aviation here in Basel, two years at Uni in Embra, before giving up (I’m a lazy bassa that can’t be arsed writing essays), 6 months stewarding at football grounds in Glasgow, a year trying to find a job, then ending up back over here working in the Pub.
