When Jumbo jets go into longhaul retirement.

Sad, but this is were commercial airliners are kept after reaching their flyby dates. Awaiting their fate possibly recycled for beer cans.

I am suprised there isn’t a hive of activity recovering parts for sale.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8542482.stm Not everything in an aircraft is specific to the model.

Says Victorville in one of the captions, Fedex must have some size fleet of aircraft if they are the ones they have retired!
