hi gang!
just a quick enquiry, does anyone know where i can get a 97rd lewis gun magazine from? Doesn’t matter if it’s replica or original, as it will be used as part of an RFC display!
keeping me fingers crossed,
tim

This place might be able to sort you out.http://www.relics.org.uk/home.htm
Thanks for the suggestion, but they don’t have the model I’m looking for. However I did ask them for tips on other sources.
Any other suggestions?

Hi gang!
many thanx for replies! I’ll be showing the joys of mag filling! Starting with a box of 1’000rds (not actually going to load even a 1/4 of ’em) to the final ‘full’ magazine – should be interesting!
just visited a site www.ima-usa.com and they only have 47rd mags, but they do have repro speed loaders which attached to the drums for filling by 5 rd clips! They also do repro air version vickers guns. Found another site which also does repro metal air version vickers guns, and that is www.repligun.com – both these companies are in the states!

Not to hijack the thread but I have a similar request…
I need a replica Vickers .303 Machine gun.
Preferably one with the WWI-style ribbed barrel.

Depends on the level of detail you need, but here is a kit to build one yourself for $90(US), hmmm, might need to mount a couple of those on teh hood of my car!:D

I saw a bunch of replica ones (very convincing) at Omaka. Try them?
