Where do we go from here???

“Horse-less wagons….are you crazy???”

Just like over a century ago when gun toting pilgrams rode through the Wild West on horses, trying to avoid “Ingins” (Indians)my imagination seems to be stuck in this era and cannot picture where fighters, tanks and the everyday soldier will progress to in 25-30 years time.
Where do you think stealth and space technology will take future conflicts to in the near future…will we be seeing stealth tanks (and no that was not a sarcastic remark about seeing stealth tanks :+) or soldiers with the power to see over the horizon with helmet mounted sensors?

Any ideas no matter how crazy they sound, (okay within reason…no bio-engineering etc.) can be presented here for the forum.
