Where to advertise avaition stuff etc?

I have started to reduce 40 years of accumulated research material plus books, mags ,photos etc. Civil and military.

A few items have gone on ebay.Where else is there to sell such items? Any other onlne sites?

My other question is ,where in these forums (if any) can I publicise my sales?

Or do I need to take out a small ad in Flypast?

I’d put an Ad in ‘Hangar Stores’ in Aeroplane – its free! Or Barnstormers…ditto

If photos, many mags are trying to build up an archive, Classic Wings for one… perhaps offer them to Key Publishing maybe they would make you an offer?

About 5 years ago I decided to do the same thing but then changed my mind and donated most of my collection to The Aviation Preservation Society of Scotland at East Fortune (Not to the Museum to whom I donated my model collection- never to be seen again). This means that where possible it will be used for research. I suppose I could have made some cash but realistically I didnt have anything of enormous value. I would suggest using ebay (with a reasonable reserve) for valuable items and donate the rest to someone who will look after it. (PS no-one wants large quantities of magazines to line their loft!!
