I was on a flight about 2 years ago, Valencia to Gatwick, from what I remember it was an MD and during mid flight we suddenly descended rapidly. We were told later that it was due to other traffic. Which website would have any information on aircraft incidents like this?

If the descent was a request from the controller I doubt you will find anything. However if it was a TCAS descent you may be lucky.

The Spanish Comisión de Investigación de Accidentes e Incidentes de Aviación Civil does have a site… but it’s all in Spanish.

yeah accident/incident reports to UK registered/operated a/c and those occuring within UK Airspace are avaliable on the AAIB website.
The NTSB have a similar list of incidents on theirs, and give links to reports where avaliable (not all countries make them public, although most have a brief synopsis, anyway) www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/query.asp

If it happened around the UK then the CAA website may have something.
They keep reports on all accidents or incidents. I can remember when I went for my medical last year the reading material they choose to leave for you while you wait were all these reports on near misses and crashes, good choice.
They may have these reports on their website.

the AAIB put all their reports on a website for which the addy is http://www.aaib.dft.gov.uk/bulletin/bulletin.htm but the reports are usually published several months afterwards – i’ll have a look n c if i can dig out u’re flights
