The Scout and Wasp were always the Mini of the Helicopter world, they always amazed me as to the dimutive size and carrying capability, there is nothing today produced really that compares, put it against something like a Squirrel which has about the same pax load and it dwarfs it.

I’m always reticent about locking threads.
If everyone bears in mind that there is some legal action pending and confines comment to the airframe, its history, and historic eggbeaters in general it can remain open. But we are watching.
Thanks to those who PM’d me the heads-up, sorry I was slow coming back, but too nice a day not to be flying.

I concur.
There is much dirty laundry to wash in public soon enough, as previous owner is currently on bail pending a trial.
The Wasp itself was sold on eBay approx 18-24 mths ago. There will be no link to give as eBay items only remain on the database for 90days.
I would suggest the OP dissist from chasing info’ that isn’t to be found, and instead take a trip (or contact direct) the museum at Aeroventure, thus….

The aircraft in question is indeed safe and well at Doncaster.
I think, bearing in mind Jack Ruskin’s comment regarding legal matters the OP’s question has been answered so perhaps the mods might like to consider putting this thread to bed?

This airframe is the subject of ongoing fraud investigations with CID during it’s time as a fund raising venture. Probably best if you steer well clear imho
By: Dean W - 4th March 2013 at 13:41
Demobbed has it listed as currently being at Aeroventure, Doncaster. Hope that helps!
