My bet is on the Germans. Their superior training and discipline allowed German pilots to make the best airplane noises in WWII.
Only the Japanese came close, but they tended to view the making of airplane noises as a private matter, not suitable for public discource.
Unfortunately the prevalence of military choirs in Soviet ranks prevented all but a few pilots from achieving really good airplane noises: it’s well known that the two don’t mix. British pilots made excellent airplane noises initially but found salt water and sand tended to corrode them after a while.

RE: Which countries’ pilots made the best airplane noises?
Evidence is hard to come by, but extensive research was carried out when compiling the script for ‘The Battle of Britain’. I think it’s fair to say that the results give a fair illustration of airplane noises from the British side, as these examples show…
“See it go in?”
“DID I? EEEEEEOOOOWWWWWWW PLONK!”
“Spring Chicken to Shitehawk in one easy lesson…”
(ALL:)” takkatakkatakkatakkatakka”
German noises were harder to come by, as the pilots usually concentrated on hand gesticulations, particularly for the benefit of the camera.
A fascinating subject.:-)
