Which headset do you use ?

Just curious to know which headsets are used and preferred by our flyers ?

Campbell Aero Classics helmet.

And David Clarke 13.4s and some others with no name on them (designed for microlights), but chosen because it has a good UK-nato plug and compatibility with a low output radio.

back to the original topic 🙂

I have 2 DCs H13.10, standard I know but very useful and comfortable, and if you search in the right place you can get them at a reduced cost even if not brand new, my second pair cost me £170 and they had only been used 3 times 😉

As you may have guessed I havent been around for a few weeks as I’ve had a terrible virus on my pc.
In fact thats what I reckon Robert is, a browser hack, he was designed to hijack EVERY interesting post with something totally dillusional and pathetic. Robert, this virus gave me a headache, and you are doing the same, and I agree with Galdri’s sentiment, this is growing VERY tiresome.
If you wanna post some humour make it sound humourous, or at least add a smilie on the end

I’m just begining to wonder, where would this board be without young ‘r’, his ideas and sometimes less than well thought out responses. In all honesty, I think it would be dead 🙁

A sure way to get any discussion going here is for ‘r’ to mention any of his ‘brilliant’ ideas and the whole place just lits up! Last time I looked there were three or four pages worth of discussion regarding his 2nd Class medical. A normal thread goes mayby two or three replys. Isn’t something wrong here??

Maybe ‘r’ is employed by Key Pub. to keep the board going 😉 😀 Anyway, I’m growing a little tired of this whole thing.

Ruprecht. Your dedication to self-delusion is worthy of praise.

O.k I was having some fun being funny and the only thing you can do is have a go at me. To be honest you should see half the PMS im getting about your attitude towards me, I have said nothing wrong. I think your attitude stinks, and I would like it if you would not reply to my posts, because even if I say something so simple as “ones that work”. You behave like a prat GROW UP!

And I would not work for a arse such as you. (From another post)

Rurpecht,

I have already stated that I have tried to be nice to you and it has not worked.

“ones that work” is a smartass answer

it got dealt with by another smartass answer

it made some people laugh.

Get a life.

Flightcom 5DX Classic. Cost me about £140 new last year, fits comfortably, sound quality’s fine, no complaints at all. Does what it supposed to do, and does it cost effectively.

Funny what?

Being and French and all that as Melvyn would say, I had to search why the hell Dan Buster was considered a comedian with his “Bits and pieces” post.

I guess it’s got something to do with that song below, non? 🙂 I’ll have to look for an mp3 of that because I never heard of it, sorry. But nice one Dan anyway!

As for me, I also have a David Clark, H20.10, which are quite comfortable. But I struggle to add a witty last note… I guess the new signature will do it for tonight.

Cheers.

Bits and Pieces
The Dave Clark Five

(Dave Clark / Mike Smith)

(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
Since you left me and you said goodbye
(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
All I do is sit and cry
(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
You went away and left me misery
(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
And that’s the way it’ll always be

(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
You said you loved me and you’d always be mine
(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
We’d be together till the end of time
(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
Now you say it was just a game
(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
But all you’re doin’ is leavin’ me pain

Time goes by and goes so slow (oh, yeah)
It just doesn’t seem true
Only just a few days ago
You said you’d love me, never make me blue

(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
Now you’ve gone and I’m all alone
(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
And you’re still way up there on your throne
(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
Nothin’ seems to ever go right
(I’m in pieces, bits and pieces)
‘Cause night is day and day is night

I wanted a pair of DC’s but opted for a set of Avcomm AC-900.

Good to know we have a comedian amongst us as well !

The cheapie ones supplied by Harry Mendelssohn. About £160 for two pair.

I used DCs in the Yak (They came with the share) and now use these in the Colt. There appears to be no discernible difference except they aren’t a fetching shade of green.

If I could afford ANR though I’d certainly buy a couple of pairs.
