A similar question to this was asked in the summer about another area of the UK.
Which RAF Maintainance Unit was responsilbe for clearing up broken aircraft in the southern most areas of the Pennines and around Derby?
I know No.75 MU covered most of what is now the Peak District within Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire and that No.60 MU covered the high ground within South and West Yorkshire.

I believe this was No 65 MU, Blaby, Leics.

May not have been an MU. It could have been an RSU (Repair & Salvage Unit)?
