Its a question which has just been bugging me. A lot of people say how Ryanair serve airports but sell them as other cities far away. Does anyone know which one is the worst destination on their current route network e.g. highest number of miles froim airport to city? Frankfurt or Stockholm must be there somewhere.

I went to Reus in February with Ryanair.
It is a long way from Barcelona! We tried to take a taxi at first – but the price (EUR 200+) put us off. We got a coach instead. Took nearly 90 minutes!

Gerona and Reus would be fine if they didnt put ‘Barcelona’ on the end of it.

I would count Blackpool, Milan Bergamo (no further from Milan than LGW is from London), Newquay, Genoa, St Ettienne, Reims, altsburg, Shannon and Murcia as the ones I can draw from memory that ‘go to where they say’ if you know what I mean.

Something positive about Ryanair:
They do operate some decent services e.g. from one big airport to another. Gatwick & Manchester to Dublin as an example. Any others?
BIQ -STN is ok

No They are not allowed to call it Copenhagen. IATA has to stick a name of a city to it. They only started operating in Niederrhein when IATA gave it the name Dusseldorf as well.

Glasgow Prestwick is only 30mins from Glasgow city centre.
I would say Copenhagen Malmo is the worst, Dont think they still call it that.

Paris Beauvais (Tille) is 86km away from Paris downtown

Brussels South Charleroi is also quite far from Brussels – 60 kilometers!
Cabincrew1, I know you work with Ryanair, but please don’t renew every thread about Ryanair in the archive!

well i have to say it has to be copenhagan (malmo) as we all know malmo is in sweeden and copenhagan is in denmark ?????
They haven’t marketed Malmö as Copenhagen for a long long time (since they were told not to). Even then, having been to Copenhagen using Malmö, I would still say that it is much closer than Frankfurt Hahn is from Frankfurt city.
