[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-07-02 AT 01:01 PM (GMT)]Saw Blade II today as well. Not bad, a bit over done in the fight scenes though, otherwise OK. 🙂
Really looking forward the SIGNS with Mel Gibson, saw the new trailer today, looks very good.

Just saw Blade II.

Quite enjoyed it. Lots of action… not for the squemish though.

Wesley is a bit of a show pony though… if you can kill a vampire only with silver or sunlight or garlic then why does he hit them so much… breaking arms and legs instead of just shooting them with silver bullets?

It is a very good movie though…

I was a little disappointed with the old cliche of fooling retina scanners by using eyeballs without attached bodies.

Hollywood…. May come as a shock but a retina scanner reads the patern of blood vessels in the back of an eye. When blood is no longer flowing they look different and the clear material in the eye starts to turn opaque. Disembodied eyeballs might work for an iris scn but not for a retinal scan… sorry.

Saw MIB 2 yesterday and have to say it was very entertaining but at 88 minutes could have been a tad longer. I also saw Minority Report, and it was a little confusing at the start until the system was explained.

Interesting story and idea, but everytime I see a future vision especially from Spielberg I feel “..god, I hope not” The technology of the era in this film which was 2054 was indeed believable but all the retina scanners everywhere? Big Brother watch out. I loved the VTOL air vehicles they used, and the Spiders!! Well enough said.

I give it 7.5/10.

Just saw MIB2.

It was good, though it was very much like the first movie and it seemed rather short.

I am going to see that tommorow. I have heard good things too. As this is a Spielberg film I would expect a decent level of believable accuracy.

Just saw Minority Report… with Tom Cruise.

I quite enjoyed it.
A very good thriller that was not predictible.
Intelligent story.
Good special effects that made the movie exciting but didn’t go too far. (ie the technology level seemed very believable for the period).

A friend of mine that went with me didn’t enjoy it much but I think he was expecting an action movie.
It had action but was definitely a thriller.

Another one – Mad Max 4, sometime in 2004 I think. Hopefully Gibson will be in it. 🙂

T3 I look forward to, and yes its in production now, due for a July 2003 release. Also True Lies 2, which is what Arny will be doing right after T3.

Others? Star Trek X: Nemesis, I think its called. MIB 2, will be out soon, can’t wait to see it. And Windtalkers. And, the next Lord of the Rings flick, due out in December.
