I have recently started scanning my old film pics into a more modern form and thought i would share them they must have been taken about 10 years ago as i went digital quite a while back anyway enjoy.
Also where are some of them now especially the hunters i always wondered what happpened to the neglected one with the deteriating paint job ? and why did duxford have 2 MIG 21’s ? and what happened to the East German one ?

I made a model of that Hunter in the Fatboy slim colors with custom made decals about a year ago:

Pretty sure Hunters are displayed with the flaps at the 1st setting to allow the pilot to keep the power up.

What’s the plan for XF375 then ?

Thanks for the link to the video Daz, I hadn’t seen that before. One query though for any Hunter pilots out there. Would you normally roll the Hunter with the flaps down? Perhaps that was to help maintan station wiith the camers ship but I would have thought it was a bit unusual.

The MiG-21 is now at Midland Air Museum, as is the F86 in the background of the Draken shot. The Draken herself is now at Dumfries & Galloway Aviation Museum.
Thanks for the pics, they bring back memories even if some of them aren’t so old.

The two-seater Hunter, XJ 615, was used in a Fat Boy Slim promo video (Whoever he/she is!)

Hunter T.8C XJ615 is now at Exeter where it is looked after by Hunter Flying.
T.7 XL587 is with Hawker Hunter Aviation at Scampton.
I think the MiG 21 is at Coventry?

Thanks for posting the pictures. Good to see some of them from a few years ago. A lot of the aircraft pictured are now elsewhere around the country.
