To be fair, I offered it to them twice over the last few years. Once as a swap for a P-51 screen or for them to make me one. I did let them scan my other Whirlwind screen. I never wanted to let it go, as I pulled it out of the ground! But if it funds items I need, it can go. They knew it was going up but their offer was too low. Which is obviously fine. I guess they will use the scan to make one.

It can and will. The only hold-up has been premises issues, ie no workshop due to factors ‘beyond our control’. The project has a balance of funds that is sitting there waiting to be used once we have a workshop again, while behind the scenes the work of producing new ‘factory’ drawings continues.
