This was a little ‘in house’ airshow to raise funds for the Air Ambulance. With a few exceptions, all the performers were home grown. Few GA airfields would be able to muster a two hour show from aircraft based in the field, and there was much variety to be seen. As most members do not have a Display Authorisation, the flying was more in the way of fly-bys, though the Yaks, CJ-6, Stinson and the aerobatic types were able to perform full displays. As this was essentially a social occassion, the photographic coverage got a little thin later on.
The show closed with a Tornado flypast, and finally the BBMF, who did one run, and then asked if we wanted one more. As if they needed to ask!

Really liked the shot of the two Chipmunks “out to pasture”. Looks like a good day was had by all.

MOTF, You remind me, the Me/Nord/Taufin was one of the ‘full monty’ displays, and very good he looked too, but that Lycoming does sound a bit odd! It was a seriously hot day, as though September was trying to make up for August.
Must mention Dave Starkey in the Stampe;- those rolling circles…..

Lovely photos from what looks like a cracking day (you had the weather then).
WW is a wonderful place with a kitchen that produces superb Bacon Sarnies.
Poor old Taifun though he only seems to own one set of clothes (or at least thats all he appears to wear 😀 )
