Has anyone here been to whitwick before? I’m hoping to go this Sat – how does it compare to Shoreham?

Cheers

As many as half a dozen stalls selling books on a good day.

Is this the one in a leisure centre hall somewhere in Leicestershire? Remember going once and being not really finding anything of interest, overheard someone holding a bent pipe saying to someone else it’ll be useful for a friends Tempest project though

Whitwick is much smaller than Shoreham as it’s held in the sports hall of a leisure centre. These days there are as many militaria, book and model stalls as aerojumble, but it’s getting that way with Shoreham and Popham lately too. Still well worth a visit though and it often turns up different stuff from traders up north who don’t travel all the way down to Shoreham.

See you there!

Hello Mark V

I did a websearch earlier and came up with this:
http://www.internationalcockpitclub.org.uk/events.php

It’s definately a goer, but I have only ever been to Shoreham.

Cheers

Are there any details of this event on the web?
