Just to save more comments here, there is amassive thread on prune with many comments from heli crew. Shows how its actaully tricky to make a conclusion based on just one camera footage evidence. But seems its not the first example and most pre date being shown on video. Welcome to the Lake District.
As a young man I spent quite a few nights in the ” Kirkstone Inn” at the top of the pass, riding my RD 125.
The weather can change in minutes, hence the busiest Mountain Rescue service in the UK.
However putting a Gazelle chopper, from back then with modern tech? (if it is a Special forces chopper)
Is like oranges & apples.
