WHO has taken the BEST BBMF Lancaster Shot this year.

I have been looking back over last year’s effort’s of picture’s of the BBMF Lanc,
And there are some really great shot’s in them old file’s 😎 .

What shot this year do you have, or think someone else on the forum has taken, so far this season, would maybe top it this year :confused: .

Please nothing else but the BBMF Lancaster please Lady’s and Gent’s 😉 , and Pictures from this season 🙂 .

OR IF YOU HAVE WHAT YOU THINK IS ” THE ” BEST SHOT OF THE BBMF LANC EVER, PLEASE POST IT!! :rolleyes: .

Yes, I too must say certain picture’s of the old girl, stir some deep emotion within me 😮 .

She really is such a beautiful and gracefull old lady 🙂 .

A perfect tribute to all those who flew and the many men(and WAAF’S) who died in Lancaster’s, to help win WW2 🙂 .

TO THE LANCASTER LADY’S AND GENT’S 🙂 , Three cheer’s hip hip hooray :dev2: :dev2: :dev2:

Best shot, by some margin, does not actually show the Lancaster herself. But it was taken FROM the Lancaster (I think by our very own ‘Stormin’), and was the shot of the poppy drop nine days ago.

Count me in on this. Nothing else I’ve seen even comes close.

I have a Minolta Dimage Z1, it’s not bad, but not up to the standard of the “Hubble space telescope” boys! 😀

My efforts so far…..

Well these are my best efforts this year so far, but I don’t think any are particularly good. The first though has poppy’s stuck along the bomb bay doors and tail wheel, arriving back at Duxford after the drop over the Mall

I’m not in the slightest bit ashamed to admit that shot brought a tear to my eye and a lump to my throat.
