I wasn’t a fan. Running around playing rugby was a complete and utter yawn.

Then again, I put up with it for many years at secondary school. Many geeky kids who couldn’t be bothered to participate would simply rely on their parents to scribble a note to the teacher explaining that their son had an injury would result in them not being able to take part.

I just did the sports to be honest, represented Scotland in the under 16’s cross country team, joined a local athletics club and went to lot’s of race meetings, played basketball for the school team etc. All good fun until I discovered wine, women and song.

Now I occasionally ride my bike to the kebab shop and back again.:cool:

Maybe you were one of those who pushed the boys into the mud/puddles. Or went for the ankles during football or hockey. Or slung half the classes clothes in the showers…
One of my year group apparently returned to find something highly obnoxious had been ‘dumped’ in his shoe.

I had to do football in the cold today in P.E,is was horrible.It’s all open with no trees so it’s was freeeeeezing!

I hated sports at school…I threw the Javeliin backwards, ran straight into the lkong jump pit (I forgot to jump), tripped over every hurdle in the hurdles, dropped the shot putt on the teacher’s foot (gott banned from sports for a whole term for that one :D), hit the other girls’ legs instead of the ball when playing hockey, and nearly brolke one girl’s nose by accident when playing netbal…

Surprisingly, one thing I could do was windsurf…was pretty good as that 🙂
