Hello,
I have just heard from a friend in Europe that Easy Jet have just taken over some 40 slots in France (Toulouse?) and that they are the biggest no frills carrier in Europe. Is this true? I had always thought that Ryanair were significantly bigger. Does this impact on Ryanair’s longterm plan to be the biggest sched carrier in Europe?
Also, does anyone know of plans for a no frills out of Frankfurt Main?
Any details posted would be great, or referrals to information.
Regards,

RE: Who is bigger? Ryanair or EasyJet
I wrote about easyJet a few months back and Ryanair were the bigger of the two but with 120 A320s on order and the taking over of Go-Fly, I don’t think it will be long before easyJet climb to the top.

RE: Who is bigger? Ryanair or EasyJet
I would say easyJet is larger due to the recent take over of Go – Fly and the planned take over of dba.
Low – Cost airlines currently flying out of Frankfurt – Main are buzz with their services to Stansted. Germania also operate a low-cost flight to Berlin Tegel and Air Berlin offer shuttle flights to Palma de Mallorca (and a few other destinations I think!).
Ryanair operate out of Frankfurt Hahn if your interested!!
