You may be right, but the people who are coming by plane have to look at the weather forecast;
Look out the window, at least you can see if it’s **** weather or not.

I think it ends at 4 PM, but I’m not sure
Normally a bit later than that, around 4,45pm, weather permitting.

Just look for Snappers Goat skin coat, Robbo’s shorts and the space hopper. No one else there will have a space hopper with them.

For those of us going on the Saturday, will there be a forum rendezvous during the morning (for those who will spending the day away from the tank bank), or is the plan just for any of us that want to, to meet up on the tank bank ready for the display/Snapper’s picnic?
Also, for the benefit of those who’ve not attended a forum meet before, would it be a good idea to have some flag etc. that would enable them to find those of us on the tank bank amongst the rest of the crowd?

Fortunately, a healthy proportion of pilots look at weather forecasts. However, they do not always understand it, translate it correctly, or pay heed to it.
The Air Navigation Order quite clearly states – and I quote verbatim
“Do not fly if you think the weather is scary, unless you are going to Flying Legends. Then just hold on for dear life and get there whatever”
At the risk of being accused of replying to every post you make (Blue Robin – please note 😉 ), are we to assume you will be there?

For heaven’s sake, don’t pay any attention to the weather forecast! It is so general, it couldn’t possiblly cater specifically for Duxford Airfield. Just go, take your sunscreen and shorts and enjoy.
If you really are picky, ask a pilot to get you the Long TAF for EGSS for 050709 to 050710. That should be a little more accurate than the BBC. Then … just ignore it and come anyway.
