and the engines are different…..
There were problems with the initial choice of engines and the Italian Air Force did not want the plane, but it served with the Hungarian and Peruvian air forces. The Caproni company was quite a prodigious producer of planes!

The glazing on the nose seems to be different in this photo, but I believe this is the prototype.

Looks spot on to me – what a great piece of recognition – I had been foxed as the cockpit glazing was actually hidden by the prop.
