Who owns ehat and where do they find the money?

Okay we’ve all heard of the OFMC and TFC et al, but who owns these concerns and where do they find the money to buy, restore and operate their aircraft? This subject rarely turns up in Flypast or Aeroplane Monthly?

Hi Melv
I understand that A*r*pl*ne M*nthly will be publishing a full cost analysis of your Rearwin restoration next month.
After all, those little sixpences all add up, don’t you agree.

I imagine you must be quite popular in Naval circles by now.
All the best
Andy 🙂 🙂 😉 😉 🙂 🙂

Is there any truth in the rumour that Ae**pla*e M*nth*y is being renamed “Melvyn Hiscock Monthly ” to commemorate the fact that he writes half of the bleeding thing. 🙂

Shhhh……

Its all a money laundering exercise.

What better way to launder large sums of drug money than to buy a big toy box, set up a kosher-looking business operating old planes and then, for the benefit of the Revenue, ‘inflate’ the operating costs out of all proportion.

Also, where did all the Brinks Mat gold go? Its all flying around the air at Duxford of course! Nudge nudge wink wink say namore…. 😉 😉 😉

But in answer to the original question it is not published as it is not the business of the magazines to do so.

I don’t care as long as they are kind enough to keep letting us see them where they belong.
Flying and not shut up in some p–y museum.

I tend to agree with that sentiment too.

Nor does how much you earn

I expect Companies House could tell you what you need to know.
All limited companies have to publish accounts (and I imagine all these operations are) –you even find out what I used to earn if you cared to look.
Search their website and see.
Of course, if they’ve any sense they’ll be registered elsewhere.
Cheers
Andy
