Who shot down Ernst Arnold?

Hello Chaps,
Hope you can help me to find who was the RAF Pilot who shot down Feldwebel Ernst Arnold from 3./JG27 on the 30th August 1940?

According with http://www.the-battle-of-britain.co.uk/pilots/Gl-pilots.htm
The pilot who shot down him was Squadron Leader Thomas Gleave on the day that he scored four victories but artist Mark Postlethwaite shows in his work that Fliying Officer Brian Carbury is the pilot who brought down.

Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.

Osprey Aircraft of the Aces

Hello Tangmere1940,
Thank you very much for the pictures.

I check Aircraft of the Aces (Bf109) of Osprey Publishing because has the same pictures that you posted. I did not noticed that the markings is 12 I thought Arnold’s bf109 was 11.
The picture has no any comments regarding the German Pilot who flew this aircraft but you can read that was shot down on August 30th by Hurricanes of No 253 Squadron so we can say that S/L Tom Gleave was the pilot who shot him down.
Well I can say that using the book as reference but perhaps somebody could have another information.

Best Regards.

I wont involve myself in who-shot-down who but just to add to the thread here are some images of Herr Arnold’s Messerschmitt. It looks rather nicer in Mark’s painting, though!
