Have a lovely photo of the 3 capital air survey beeches together for the first time in 30 years! 😀

I never had any problems getting them back from any magazine but then I would always send a copy anyway. It is far easier with digital as you can just send a disc off. I dont bother anymore as they all have associated freelance photographers so you are lucky to get anything in, unless you have something special that is!

I only hope Flypast are better at returning other peoples photos than the ‘other’ magazine are.

for which Sywell Aviation Museum is extremely grateful! Mr T has put 20 years into the Beech and I’ve managed 13, young Howard has been popping up for less than a year! Kids. 🙂
Don’t forget the 3 years as a junior Member 😉

It’s all better now, but I’ll never forget how snotty the reply was when I sent in some rare sightings from a regional airport in Colombia. I had to bribe guards and promise to keep all kinds of secrets to get them – Beech 18’s, DC-6’s, a Grumman Amphibian, all privately owned and regularly operated from Cali..
It seems the problem was I was not a regular contributor.
Staff and attitudes have changed since those days (mid 1990’s). Just wanted to vent, after all these years!! Feel better now.

Wow, imagine the time it’d take to get them there if you had to post them off!
24 hours?

Cracking Beech’s, thanks for sharing.

Since you’re already on the website, why not look up the editor’s contact information. It’s on one of the tabs for the magazine. That would be the way to do it.
All the best,
Richard
