If you do, is (a) correct or (b)
Make a full backup (Master). Then next time make an incremental backup – it only saves files that have changed or added since the master. It has a filename ending in incr1. At next backup, if you select to use “Existing backup”, does one pick (a) the master as the source job or (b) incr1? The new file name ends in incr2 but incr1 is still alive as it’s own backup.
If you choose (a) to create incr2, is incr1 now redundant?

Nero is my chosen tool, it constantly gives reliable burns and stuff, but I’ve only recently started the Back Up (I used to use DVD’s as a simple File Copy).

Or look at Mozy for your back up programme!:D
But it doesn’t work for everybody – this guy doesn’t rate Mozy at all:

I still use the manual backup method onto an external hard-drive – a bit of a nause but it ain’t rocket science.
