Okay, this will keep you lot busy. Who was the first fatality in a British military aircraft crash? Or the first RFC pilot to die in a crash? This for my book…

Captain Lorraine and Sgt Wilson may have been the first RFC as that was not formed until 1912. They are commemorated at the Airman’s Cross close to Stonehenge.
I’ve got some pictures of the Airmans Cross sitting in my scanner.
As soon as this picture posting facility is repaired I’ll post them up here.
