Veteran forumites with Liverpool links will probably remember the incident in the mid-1960s when a Viscount 700 locked its main undercarraige brakes on one side while taxiing past the terminal building, and as a result arrived in the arrivals hall in a somewhat unplanned manner:diablo:
But I’ve not seen this picture before, which has popped up in a Liverpool historical website here

I’m a little uncertain about the copyright of some of them: mos are Liverpool City Council, but in one or two other cases I know who the photographer was, and I’m pretty certain that neither he nor his employer at the time have given permission, so copy them at your own risk!
