Who's F-18Growler?

Hello mates, I wanted to make this thread so people know about me and people who been waiting to want to learn about me. So let’s get started

My name is Steven. I love aviation.. Aviation is my passion. When I was little i went to airshows to watch military aircraft which was my favorite part to watch i loved seeing the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels. I was born in September 9th. That’s it, if you have any questions about me you can feel free to give me a question and I’ll answer it for you. No foolish questions, Thanks for your time.

Sincerely,
F-18Growler

its a bit unfair to compare the two.

historic aircraft have been around for a long time, have almost no new development, and have been dissected in and out. lots of information on their performance and uses
modern aircraft are still ongoing and fueled by speculation

No No you have got it all wrong. Historic aircraft are not dissected many start life as a data plate and then are resurected before the fun starts again!:D

I much prefer the Historic section, people know what they’re talking about on there…

hi growler! i like people who like f-18s.
too bad modern aviation section is actually the worst section in this forum. but also the most entertaining

Yea i can tell Modern Aviation section is probably the worst section. 😀 There’s to much arguing in there. Remember about that argument about the Super Hornet upgrade and the Picture thread one?

We are something of a diverse bunch who inhabit this place. On here you will meet pilots, combat veterans, engineers, restorers, historians, researchers and authors. But the one thing we all have in common is our enthusiasm and our passion for the subject.

For me it is not the hardware that enthralls me, it is the men (and in some instances women) who built, maintained, flew, fought and in all too many cases died.

Regards,

Well we got there in the end and welcome. From your forum name I presume Modern Military appeals to you or do you just enjoy aviation across the board?

Both! I love aviation and Modern Military Aviation.

Paul, with some tongue in cheek, was questioning English as one of the languages here……..!!:dev2:

I don’t know Paul, I think we all can speak two languages here, English, and American, although I do struggle with the Americanisms at times. 😀

That explains a lot. I appreciate the clarification. Did you immigrate to the United States or were you born here?

25??

Was Spanish your first language? When did you learn English?

Yes Spanish is my first language i got to admit that. English is my second language. Althought my English is good but it’s weird in a way. Yes 25 finally you wanted to know about me. Time to admit it. So anymore questions? I learned English by watching, reading and learning stuff about english.
