Who's going to Hathrow 24/10/03 to wave Concorde bye bye?

Well, the title says it all I suppose.

I, for one, will be going! Anyone care to organise a gettogether?

Is Hathrow the area between Hatton Cross tube station and Heathrow? 😀

Don’t you worry, I will be making enough pictures to last us all a life time! I just bought myself a new memory stick, 256 mb. If I won’t be able to shoot all planes now, I’ll never be!

I’ll be in Edinburgh for the last Scottish flight. They really ought to do a sonic boom salute across the whole UK on the last day. 😎

Heathrow is going to be closed for the duration of the fly past I believe.
Sadly I will be in Copenhagen on a Business Studies trip (They sure know how to pick the dates!)

I’d like to get to one at BHX or MAN, aswell as the final day at LHR. We’ll see how things plan out – I’ll be very upset if I don’t make any of them though.

Heathrow and all good local viewing locations will be absolutely packed. Plus, I don’t see how they can allow all twelve aircraft to do a formation fly-by without causing considerable disruption to the regular traffic.

I’m not a fan of Concorde, never have been really, but I will probably go for its last visit to BHX. If I remember rightly I was there for its first. And Bhx is only 25 minutes away.

I’ll be at BHX and MAN for the farewell things there, but doubt I’ll go to LHR, better photo oportunities elsewhere.
