Why can i love plains,But hate airports?
People say that they love it when the can just make it back on the ground. I am the opossite. I hate airports with a passion. I love being a passenger on a plane and the bumpier the ride the better š Which is kinda weird because I hate being the passenger in a car?

The last run in I had with stupidity in an airport, just recently again it was Frankfurt. My gate number had been changed 30 mins before my flight. But when i went to the new gate they said that it was not there and that I should contact information. There was a lady waiting back at the old gate with information for many of us who were now starting to get anoyed. She was reading from a paper handout about all the changes. I asked her how old the hand out was and she said she got it 30 mins ago. Anyone who has been around airports knows a lot can change in 30 mins. I called airport flight info only to find out that her information was wrong right enough. All the people on my flight ended up going to three different gates I wonder if this sounds familiar
:)hehe we went through a similar situation many years ago in Singapore where we have to wait for 5 hours.

Probably because in flying or skydiving you don’t have anything linking you to the ground to give you a fixed reference point. I am also scared of heights but love flying including aerobatics.
I have lost count of how many times I have jumped out of a plane  happily though, they were all on the ground at the time š
I think it all started to go downhill when airports forgot they were airports and decided that they were actually shopping malls and I don’t care if they say that rents from shops keep airport charges down, I hate them š
That reminds me of Aberdeen airport in Scotland. people say duty free is less expensive because its duty free. However I can asure you that most off sales in aberdeen are way way way less expensive than there airports duty free. Norway is something else though. Alcohol in general is so expensive that the locals try and smuggle it in from Sweden. Avarage is between £5.00 and £7.00 for just less than a pint
Every time my family arrived back in Australia we always end up at the quarantine line, because my granny always bring food.
If you ever come to Norway then don,t bring fresh meat or Rhodedendrons. Strangely enough rhodedendroms over in Norway is a very expensive plant. they pay a fortune for them. In Scotland its a weed and grows everywhere

i’m perrrfect in everyway baby. Btw, go on wikipedia and do a search for “Spy Magazine” š
I could not find it on Wikipedia,But I found an article through google about just how impossible it would be for santa to do what he says he does. If thats what you are getting at?, then yes totaly hilarious š See below:
Julenissen flyr hĆøyt oppe i lufta trukket av Rudolf og alle de andre ganske sĆ„ spesielle reinsdyrene. Er det virkelig fysisk mulig at Julnissen kan dele ut gaver over hele jorda i lĆøpet av 24 timer? Of course it is. He fly,s Braatens/SAS dont you people know anything š

I generally hate airports but enjoy flying. Airports are usually too busy, too many queues, too much hassle. Low-fare carriers have made things worse – far too many irregular travellers bimbling around, no clue, slowing things down, especially in lines like at security where they have no idea they’ve got to tell their cellphone out of their pocket, take their jacket off, etc, etc. And airports are regularly under-staffed for the number of people passing through them these days IMHO – another consequence of needing to cut costs because of the demands of low-fare carriers, I feel.
So true, so very very true.

Love planes but hate airports because when I’m at an airport I’m going somewhere more interesting than the airport as my destination.

I don’t mind airports, cannot stand passenger jets…just don’t like not having a part in the aircraft’s destiny. If that makes sense?! Don’t like heights either, but fine flying and did a parachute jump!

Why can i love plains,But hate airports?
You got to be realistic though, there is no way to compare a plain with an airport. I mean, a plain is a wide open field with small birds. An airport is…. well… a wide open field with big birds. Have you ever had a small bird sh1t on you? Not nice heh? Now imagine a bid bird doing that to you. That thought alone should be sufficient reason to hate airports. š

It’s common with some people.
Airports are too much hassle sometimes, so people prefer planes much more. They’re much more fun too.
PS, should this be in Commercial?
I appologize, You are correct. This should be on the comercial thread. It was my first post here,But I could have checked the menu a bit closer. Maybe someone can move this for me? š

Wow I’m the complete opposite. I dont care about planes but like airports! Once I had to stay in an airport for an extended period of time because of some civil disturbances back home. During that time, I met new people, got a job as a painter, played cards with airport personnel, had conflict with the chief, met an attractive stewerdess, did some translation work of a foreign guy who was accused of having drugs, ate at a Burger King.. and then later leave to meet some Jazz musician.

Because you’re trying to get through an airport during the Christmas season? š
No Got nothing to do with the season  The thought of not getting my flight or people giving wrong info or cancelations and of course overcrowding are but a few of my reasons. For small airports: The most terrrable for me was Addis Abiba. Those people don,t know there a-s from there elbow. You actualy have to fill in an imigration card on your way out aswell as in to the country. But the place is very poorly signposted. The computer technology they use in bookings is compatable with pentium2 and win95. Malicia presence helps you keep your cool though
The best in small airports has to be Stavanger,Norway. But maybe thats because I live there š
