Despite having been at work since 8am this morning I have acheived bugger all. I’ve tried to make progress, but I’m no further ahead than I was at 5pm last night.
My place of work is about half a mile from Coventry’s main runway – it’s not the busiest place in the world but there’s a fair amount of traffic (some of it quite interesting – AACF’s DC3’s etc are airborne regularly for instance).
Talk about distracting! I know where I’d rather be – and I’m looking forward to the time when I can knock off at 5pm and turn right at the roundabout to go to the flying school instead of left to go home…. Or even better, the time when I can hire an aircraft and just take the afternoon off if it gets really annoying!
Ok as you were chaps. Rant over 🙂

Cockpit fever… That about sums it up!
So what’s more expensive? A hard drug habit or flying? As has been said, to make a small fortune from aviation..

Well, that explains some of the syntax, grammar and spelling. I suppose it explains some of the daft ideas too.

Ah! Cockpit fever. we all get it.
I’m chewing up the woodwork on my desk as my aircraft is in maintenance and has been for a few weeks.
I console myself with the thought that at this time of day it will still be very lumpy and the viz is probably poor. But come 9pm tonight I’ll be hankering to be at the strip with the prospect of a short but sweet sunset flight.
Damn!
