Why is the F-16 CG a bit to the back?

Hi,
anybody can answer the above question? From what I’ve heard
before, its got something to do with aircraft turning at a faster
rate but I’m no longer sure of this after asking another fellow
technician. He told me it is for easier take off….?????? We
are of different aircraft type, so our ignorance is acceptable,
rite…..hehehe
