Why no sequence of Top Gun?

Since Top gun Movie is such a success,why there is no sequence of Top Gun 2? I hope they can make a Top Gun 2 abt the air battle of Col Tomb and Lt Randy Cunningham(Mig-17 vs F-4J).What u guys think?

What u hope to see if there is going to make a Top Gun 2????
