Why some much hate and bitterness in Modern Military forum?

Why does this forum seem to have increasing level of hate, bitterness, personal attacks and general hostility? It used to be such a wonderful resource, but is turning into lowly pissing matching between some members. I don’t bother posting my questions here anymore as I know it will become a fan-boy fight.

It is a shame that this place is crippled by this hostility and intractable stubbornness , it could be such an interesting and viable resource for aviation enthusiasts, like the Historical Section.
