Why the carrier-based AEWA does not enter jet era

Almost all land-based air-born early warning aircraft in service now are jet plane in believe. However, it has been half century the Hawkeye still fitted with propeller causing maximum RCS for modern war.
Yes helicopters are still using propeller, but surround by air-refuelling jets, anti-sub jets and EW jets, the Hawkeye looks discordant so much, not only viewing also lower ceilling and snaillike speed.
Now I want some reason to support such senility and why us didn’t foster something new?
