Anyone know if its possible to get a trijet in the UK anymore. I know Biman operate a DC10 through Manchester but they don’t pick up or drop off passengers.
Only trijet services i can think of are NWA DC10’s at Gatwick and Varig DC10’s at Heathrow.
Do any MD11’s operate to Heathrow or Gatwick.

I don’t think Transat’s Tristars went as early as 2000, I remember seeing one in August 2001/2.
Your right, look’s like they kept going right through till the first half of 2004.

Gemini Air Cargo operate MD11s/DC10s into EMA, or at least used to.

I believe the Northwest DC10’s are going from Gatwick soon? Anyone have anything further on this?
Cheers Phil 😀

Do Air Transat still use any of their Tristars to the UK ?
They retired them from service a while back now, I’m not sure of the exact year but it’s around 2000 I think.
Summed up you have…
Biman Bangadesh DC-10s, MAN & LHR
Northwest DC-10s, LGW
Varig MD-11s, LHR
Eva Air Cargo MD-11s, LHR
FedEx MD-11s, STN
Air Namibia MD-11s, LGW
Lufthansa Cargo MD-11s, EMA
UPS MD-11s STN/EMA
I’m not entirely sure about the info with the last three, please correct where wrong.

Varig operate with MD11s, not DC10s.
Some cargo MD11s also visit STN and LHR, such as Eva Air and Fedex. Not sure about passenger types though.
