will Isreal ever get new trainers?

Isreal is still operating the fouga magister, a jet that looks like it was cobbled together out of stovepipe. In the 6 day war, the magister played an important part in the preemtive ground strikes, Id think that would inspire isreal all the more to maintain a strong aircraft for this role. Past mideast wars have shown also its important to maintain aircraft for home defence to fend off attack when fighter force is away on offensive missions. I think the perfect trainer being considerd by Isreal is the L-139. This jet is powered by an american Garret Turbofan engine, which is very efficient, reliable and has long servise hours. Aero is teamed up with Boeing to continualy develope this jet, so it would be a good deal for the US too.
