I believe that it was a ‘Hobbit-sized’ Lancaster, so shoud fit easily into the container.

As it is coming from New Zealand, surely it would be a Wellington?!

It’s not often that I’m wrong, but it would appear that in this case I was. The container doesn’t contain an Australian P-51. No it has the flying Lancaster that has gone missing from here (New Zealand) that the media has been reporting over the last few days. I just hope that no damage was done when the Lanc was shoved into the container as it looks a bit small to hold a complete aircraft! :dev2:

It would be great to see the JDK P51 at Legends. I guess that it will wear authentic RAAF SEAC colours.
