Venturing onto this forum from my usual territory on the historic forum, be gentle with me. 🙂
Does anyone know what the current condition of the second, unfinished An-225 is? It’s been a couple of decades since work stopped on her, surely time must have taken it’s toll now? I don’t suppose anyone has any pics of her?

I was in Gostomel the other day.
The second 225 fuselage is still in the hanger with the wings etc stacked alongside.
There are no plans to sell to the Russians (Volga Dnepr??) or rebuild it at this time.
That was from the Head Shed at Antonov!

In the last few moths this topic has been discussed. Apparently Antonov Airlines does not need a second An-225, thus it has been offered to Russia. The cost of completion has been estimated at 100 million $ by Ukrainians and 300 million $ by Russians.

There was a plan ( allegedly) at one time that she would have an AN 124 style rear door. There were also plans to restart AN 124 production at Ulyanovsk and Kiev of improved version. I think UR82009 is the flying prototype for this program.
Be lucky

Not in the forseeable future:(
There is no money or work for the second 225 to be fully built by ADB.
