Win an Aerobatic Flight in a Yak52

The Vulcan Restoration Trust’s 2008 Prize Draw was launched at the April ‘Visit the Vulcan Day’, with Group Captain Bill Burnett arriving in his gold and blue Yak-52, G-OCBT. A ride in this Yak, piloted by UK Aerobatic Champion Mark Jeffries, will be the very special first prize in the draw. For this once in a lifetime experience, the Trust will be selling the prize draw tickets at its remaining events during 2008 – see below for details.

The Trust’s final open day – titled Visit the Vulcan Day – for 2008 at Southend Airport, Essex, SS2 6YF is to be held on 21st September 2008.

Then there are the ‘Enthusiasts Events’, with two dates:

Saturday 4 October: Guest speaker: Wing Commander Adrian Sumner. Adrian will be talking about interesting and varied career in aviation including his time in the RAF and his many hours on the mighty Vulcan.

Followed by the Christmas Special, on 6 December, with a very special guest speaker! 😎

Raffle tickets will be on sale at these events, with the draw taking place during the Christmas Special.

There is an age limit of 14 for the first prize. The flight need not be aerobatic if the winner so decides!

There is a second prize of £150, and a third of £50.

Thank you. 🙂
