The man himself at the Hunsdon airfield memorial dedication in 2005. Even then he was suffering from his disease, but extremely kind and pleased to have been invited back to the former RAF Hunsdon. He is pictured here delivering a reading from the bible in memory of his comrades from 85 Squadron.
My only concern is that the collection of medals ect, stay together, and in the UK .
