When I was on 204 sqdn Coastal command my CO was Wing Commander Roe.This was 1963,I have tried to find out his history but cannot find any reference anywhere.I did see a photo of him as an AVM ,I think in Cyprus he was shaking hands with Prince Charles so he may have been Officer commanding NEAF ?This photo was in the “Daily Telegraph”.Anyone out there who can help?

Thanks for the information!Sir Rex Roe,well Wingco when I was on 204.I guess I flew about 150 hours with him as captain and he was a real gentleman.I got him in trouble in El Adem by “borrowing ” an army generals cap and afterwards he set me up and made a joke of it!He was my hero !
