Is this the year that Lyneham have their eveniing show, which they hold every couple of years. Never been inside before but watched outside after one of Yeoviltons Air Days in July a few seasons back. Excellent mound of earth and gravel put you on the threshold of the runway and had Spitfires taking off and landing above my head and a Tornado F3 taking off in full burner in darkness

There WILL however be the Shuttleworth Original Flying Proms at Old Warden on August 13

I will be their, and am looking forward to it, I might also go to the May evening airshow.

Wings & Strings 2005

Just to settle all doubt, there will not be a Wings & Strings this year. The event last year was dependant on ‘doubling up’ with an existing event. Unfortunately, an appropriate event could not be found to do this with this year.

However, we are working on 2006 and may have some exciting news before too long. We will however sort the website out ASAP.

There will be no Wings and Strings in 2005. There was never an event planned for this year. The next event will be in 2006.
