At the airbase of Ursel in Belgium, the third eddition of wings and wheels will take place from 6th augustust until 8th august 2004. Several warbirds as Spitfire MKIX, Me109 Buchon, B-25 Mitchell, Fiat G46, T6 and harvards, … will attend. Next to this historic planes, many oldtimer vehicles are expected to be there. A must for the WWII-enthousiast.

Just to bring a update:
Also a T28 Trojan, a MD312 Flamand, SV4, and a allouette II have joined the list of aircraft participants. This is the first year that the event will attract this number of aircraft. The list on the site isn’t complete yet. There are some more possible historic visitors!
On the site, it is written that it is a static show. But, the planes do have to land. Several planes such as the B25 Mitchel attend the airshow in Leopoldsburg in belgium. So it takes of for this other field, preforms a display and then returns to Ursel. So there will be some movement in the air during the weekend.
It is a rare occasion to se Me109 OO-MAF which was descussed in a previous tread on this forum.
Greets,

What dou you think of the idea of bringing vintage vehicles and airplanes together in such a big show?
Are there similar events elsewhere in Europe?
Greets.
